Welcome to carpetcaremasters.co.za , operated by Carpet Care Masters. By accessing or using this Site, requesting a quote, or booking a carpet cleaning service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.

1. Our Services

Carpet Care Masters provides carpet, upholstery, and related cleaning services at customer premises, as described on our Site or agreed at the time of booking. Quotes provided online or telephonically are estimates and may be adjusted after an on-site assessment (e.g. due to carpet condition, size, or stain severity), which we will communicate to you before proceeding.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

• Bookings may be made via the Site, phone, email, or WhatsApp.
• We ask that cancellations or rescheduling be communicated at least 24 hours/days in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a R30 cancellation fee and R100 call-out fee, as communicated at the time of booking.
• We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the agreed time window but are not liable for minor delays caused by traffic, prior jobs running long, or circumstances outside our control.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To enable us to perform the Services safely and effectively, you agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and address details
• Ensure reasonable access to the property and the areas to be cleaned at the agreed time
• Disclose any known fragile, antique, delicate, or previously damaged flooring/upholstery before work begins
• Remove or secure valuables, breakables, and pets from work areas where reasonably possible
• Disclose any known pre-existing stains, damage, or issues so they can be assessed prior to cleaning

4. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are as quoted at the time of booking or confirmed after an on-site assessment.
• Payment is due on completion of service / per agreed invoice terms, via the payment methods indicated on our Site or invoice.
• We reserve the right to charge interest or late payment fees on overdue invoices, to the extent permitted by South African law.

5. Satisfaction and Complaints

If you are not satisfied with the Services provided, please notify us within 7 days of the service date so we can assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a re-clean or remedy. We aim to resolve complaints fairly and in line with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

6. Limitation of Liability

• While we take care to use appropriate cleaning methods and products, some carpets, fabrics, or surfaces may react unpredictably to cleaning (e.g. due to age, prior treatments, or pre-existing wear). We will discuss any known risks with you before proceeding where reasonably identifiable.
• To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, our liability for any loss or damage arising from the Services is limited to the cost of the Service performed, except where such limitation is not permitted by law (including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008).
• We are not liable for damage arising from pre-existing conditions not disclosed to us, or from items not removed/secured as requested under Section 3.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Website Use and Intellectual Property

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only, including to request quotes or bookings. All content on the Site — including text, images, and logos — is owned by or licensed to Carpet Care Masters and may not be copied or reproduced without our prior written consent.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. payment providers, review platforms) for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date revised accordingly.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
